TCC’s volunteer team and Chiachong Elementary School students of Tainan City explored interesting energy knowledge together.
In Tainan City’s Chiachong Elementary School, TCC's volunteer team read “How Does My Home Work” and “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” to students and introduced kinds of equipment and appliances at home and school that consume energy and how does this energy generate. Some students made their unique paper windmills using colored paper, cotton swabs, and straws, and the others learned how wind power transforms into electricity through the “Taipower D/S One –Renewable Energy House” activity. By reading picture books and doing hands-on activities, volunteers guided students in interestingly observing their energy usage in daily life. Sharing a happy afternoon, TCC's volunteer team promised to introduce more interesting energy knowledge and games next time.
