TCC Commemorates International Day for Biological Diversity, Partnering with the Ministry of Agriculture and CommonWealth Sustainability(CWS) to Champion Agricultural ESG and Nature Positive Initiatives
In observance of International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22, Taiwan Cogeneration Corporation (TCC) participated in the "Businesses Back Agricultural ESG" industry-government forum and pledge ceremony, co-organized by the CommonWealth Sustainability(CWS) and the Ministry of Agriculture(MoA). Centered around the core theme of a "Nature Positive" future, the event reflects the growing global momentum to expand climate action beyond mere carbon reduction to embrace broader biodiversity conservation. TCC President C.T. Chen attended in person, engaging in in-depth dialogues with representatives from over 30 benchmark enterprises across the financial, technological, medical, service, and manufacturing sectors. Through policy briefings, practical case studies, and cross-sector panel discussions, TCC aims to leverage synergies to inject tangible momentum into Taiwan's journey toward a "Nature Positive" and ecologically harmonious sustainable future.

As the representative enterprise for the energy sector at the event, TCC proudly took the stage alongside 18 cross-industry leaders to jointly pledge active support for the MoA's “Agricultural Sustainability ESG initiatives” — committing to safeguard Taiwan's ecology and biodiversity, and to champion a smart, resilient, sustainable, and trustworthy agricultural sector in Taiwan.

As a leading player in domestic power engineering and green power wheeling, TCC firmly believes that sustainable transformation encompasses not only breakthroughs in energy services but also a corporation's proactive stewardship of the broader ecological environment. This concrete participation in cross-sector collaboration signifies TCC's practical action to extend its sustainability philosophy from low-carbon energy to natural ecosystems. Looking ahead, TCC will continue to integrate agricultural sustainability with its core operations, engage in greater sustainable action through public-private partnership models, so as to contribute its part to building a nature-positive impact for Taiwan.
